Do you know what is the volunteer? Why a mandatory volunteering was organized? The person who expresses a willingness to undertake a service without the wages and the passion we called the volunteer. Many people who donate themselves to be the volunteer they actually have the beautiful mind for loving another person. Being the volunteer give more benefits including palpable-easily perceptible by the mind- such as fulfillment, admiration, etc. and impalpable such as the relationship, educational skill, etc. Many educational organization foresee about this benefit, so they involved the mandatory volunteer in the curriculum to created the voluntarism in the student mind. We call this program that ?the mandatory volunteer?. Even if the students did not concern about the benefit of this program they might be disagree with it. In my opinion, although being the mandatory volunteering might give some pressure to the students but it give more valuable than the defective including tangibility and intangibility.

Although being mandatory volunteering do not pay back with the money, but it give more impalpability such as self-fulfilling, self-value, positive thinking, etc. In my experiences, I used to be mandatory volunteering with the handicap patients in general hospital during my weekends. That was the first experience to help the hopeful patients to fulfill their hopefulness and healthiness. In that time, I was responsible for feeding some food, reading some books, and speaking with them everyday. The first time that I met them, I was very sympathetic. I also was very depressed after I went back home. By the way, I tried to support them with everything that I could. The wonderful mind happened after I saw them smiled and felt better. I always told everybody that in that experience partially inspired me to be a nurse today.

Furthermore, being the mandatory volunteering gives me more manifestation such as the communication skills, practice skills, learning skills relationship, etc. For example, I learned about how to feeding, supporting and speaking with the other person by the patient and the practitioner. For preparing, I had read more books about the handicap patient and psychology; So, I could improve my learning skills and communication skills. In addition, I had new friends from volunteering.

On the other hand, the students thought being mandatory volunteering sometimes made them get more defects such as stressful, nervous and guilty. Because they do not want to follow the schedule from school. Moreover, they are nervous about their grade or their education; so, they resist the mandatory volunteering program. In my experience, although previously I was very nervous, after I knew that I had to be the volunteer. But, I could overcome this problem because of the patient feeling. Furthermore, I believed that it was the greatest benefit for me. Then I rearranged my schedule time and kept standing under my schedule. I had finished my homework before the weekend. After that I felt better during voluntary program. I thought that I could improve my management skills from this program too.

Mandatory volunteer not only give the greatest benefit from education but it also is very useful to the other people and community. It is very talent for the student who do not only want to learn from the classroom because they can learn from the real world outside by themselves. Furthermore, It is made you become passionate in volunteering in you life. In conclusion, I strongly believe that being mandatory volunteering absolutely give more benefits than just sitting around in the class.
