When the children ask why?

Many parents always heard “why the dog have tail mommy? Why the sky are blue mommy? Why the cat was crying mommy?” and so on. That are the question that we normally listen to from the kids when they are during 3- 4 years old because they stand in the period of language development. That why we call them as “Jummai Kids”-Jummai is the slang language in Thai meant the same as “why” in English-.

The first word called by the kids is “dada” or “mama” when they are 12 months old.Afterward they learn to speech from parent or their family. The language will be developed increasingly till 4 years and combind with another decelopments such as motor, social ,cognitive and intellectual development. Consequently they will ask everything that they meet.

คุณพ่อคุณแม่หลายๆคนคงจะเคยเจอคำถาม”คุณแม่ขาทำไมหมามันมีหางคะ” ,”คุณแม่ขาทำไมท้องฟ้าถึงมีสีฟ้าคะ” ,”คุณแม่ขาแล้วทำไมแมวถึงร้องเหมียวๆ”เป็นต้น ซึ่งเป็นคำถามที่จะพบได้บ่อยในเด็กที่อายุ ในช่วง 3-4 ปี ซึ่งเป็นช่วงที่เด็กมีพัฒนาการทางภาษาอย่างชัดเจน จึงเป็นที่มาของคำว่า “เจ้าหนูจัมไม”

เด็กเริ่มจะเรียนรู้เรื่องของการพูดได้ครั้งแรกเมื่ออายุ 12 เดือน โดยคำคำแรกที่เด็กมักจะเรียกได้ก่อนคือ พ่อ หรือ แม่ หลังจากนั้นพัฒนาการของเด็กด้านภาษาจะค่อยๆเป็นมากขึ้น จากเรียกหรือเปล่งเสียแค่พยางค์เดียวเป็นสามารถพูดได้เป็นประโยคเมื่ออายุได้ 4 ปี ซึ่งเด็กจะเรียนรู้สิ่งเหล่านี้ได้จากพ่อแม่ ครอบครัว และผู้ที่อยู่ใกล้ชิด ผนวกกับพัฒนาการด้านกล้ามเนื้อ ด้านสังคม และด้านสติปัญญาการรับรู้ของเด็กที่มีมากในวัยนี้ทำให้เด็กเรียนรู้ได้เร็ว และเป็นเด็กที่ช่างซัก ช่างถามในสิ่งที่พบเห็นได้ตลอดเวลา

During voluntary training at the Samutprakarn hospital fifthteen years ago.I had a chance to contact with many hopeless patients and I spent my weekend for caring them as volunteer care giver. That was the first impression that I feel that I born to be the nurse.

Firstly I was suggested from the patient who was paralyzed and he did not have anyone visited him.His name is Somboon and I called him “Koe”.He said he was extreamly impressing for my attention and he hope that I can be the good caregiver absolutely.That is the first persuation that I got from the pateint that I took care him for 1 week when I had to practice in surgery department but I have never forgotten and encouraged me to be a nurse till today.

Not only It was the first impression but also was supporting my mind when I feel weariness. On the other hand I always recalled to my patient when I was exhausted.Because this is my job and this job is for them the pateint who strongly need a good caring from me.

สมัยก่อนตอนที่ปิดเทอมสมัย ม.5และม.6 พอดีได้เข้าโครงการแพทย์ชนบทและได้มีโอกาสไปทำงานในโรงพยาบาลกับคนไข้ เสมือนกับอาสาสมัคร ตอนนั้นยังไม่มีความรู้ด้านการพยาบาลหรือการรักษาอะไรเลย กิจกรรมในตอนนั้นก็เลยเน้นไปทางให้อาหารคนไข้ ป้อนยา พูดคุยกับคนไข้ ซึ่งเล่านี้เองจึงเป็นที่มาของแรงบันดาลใจที่ทำให้ตัวดิฉันเองต้องมาเป็นพยาบาลในทุกวันนี้

Today I met one case brought to emegency room during I was supervising my student.He was chest discomfort problem especialy when he breathed.He had blood pressure 90/60 mmHg and breathing difficulty(Oxygen sat. 88%).After physical exam I possibly thought he had the pnumothorax because he had abnormal breath sound such as resonance but I was not sure about that until he was filmed chest. The first reason that made me not sure about that case because he suddenly pained without injured . He was identified sapontaneous pneumothorax after the doctor saw his film. That was the reason that I started to interview his history from his family again. In summary I was quite sure that the SP that he has from serious smoking for a long time.

วันนี้ดิฉันได้พบกับผู้ชายวัยประมาณกลางคน คนหนึ่งที่ถูกพามาโรงพยาบาลด้วยอาการเจ็บหน้าอกเวลาหายใจเข้าออก ความดันแรกรับ 90/60 มิลลิเมตรปรอท มีอาการหายใจลำบาก Oxygen sat 88% หลังจากได้ตรวจร่างกายแล้วดิฉันคิดว่าผุ้ป่วยรายนี้น่าจะมีปัญหาของมีลมในปอด เนื่องเคาะหน้าอกแล้วมีเสียงก้อง แต่ก็ยังไม่แน่ใจนักเนื่องจากผู้ป่วยไม่มีปีวัติเป็นโรคปอด หรือกระแทกอะไรมาเลย ที่น่าแปลกใจคือมันเกิดขึ้นแบบกระทันหันมาก หลังจากที่ได้ดูฟิลม์แพทย์วินิจฉัยว่าผู้ป่วยมีภาวะลมในช่องปอด ซึ่งทำให้ดิฉันแปลกใจมากจนกระทั่งต้องไปซักประวัติจากญาติที่มาด้วย และสิ่งที่ดิฉันคิดว่าสิ่งที่น่าจะเป็นสาเหตุได้อย่างชัดเจนจากประวัติของผู้ป่วยรายนี้ก็คือการสูบบุหรี่จัดเป็นเวลานาน
