Alcohol May Cut Lymphoma Risk

WEDNESDAY, June 8 (HealthDayNews) — Regular drinkers may be at a 27 percent lower risk of developing non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma, the sixth most common cancer, researchers report. “People who drink alcohol may have a lower risk of non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma compared with non-drinkers,” said lead author Lindsay M. Morton, a research fellow at the National Cancer Institute.
